Hi, I’m Kat — a lived-in color specialist with five years of experience creating soft, natural, low-maintenance hair for real life.
I started my career through a hands-on apprenticeship in Webster, Texas, then spent the last two years behind the chair in Houston’s EaDo neighborhood, growing a loyal clientele of busy, creative women who wanted to look effortlessly put-together.
My approach has been shaped by advanced courses with artists like Anh Co Tran, Larisa Love, Sally Lemmo, and Jennifer Tran.
I’m passionate about crafting looks that grow out beautifully and enhance your natural texture and tone — so you can feel confident, refreshed, and ready for anything, without worrying about upkeep.
In 2025, my partner and I made the leap from Texas to Colorado for adventure. The mountains are beautiful and the community is lovely. I’m so excited to bring my artistry and energy to Denver!
Where I’m Located
I’m located at Velvet Rifle Salon in Edgewater, Colorado, just down the street from Sloan’s Lake. The salon is easy to find — right across from Playa Bowls and Edgewater Beer Garden — with ample street parking nearby.
